About

Hello! My name is Faith, and I am a 20 something year old student nurse studying at a university you will have heard of, in a big city- doing my clinical practice in an NHS Trust you will have heard of, for (thankfully) all the right reasons.

Obviously, I am writing under a pseudonym. This is for both the protection of myself, and my patients, friends and colleagues.

My writing is protected under a creative commons licence- don’t nick my stuff please! I write for other publications under my own name too, my work is valuable to me!

This is me:

Me!

Clearly, I don’t really look like that, but I don’t really want to publicize my real self on here for all the blindingly obvious reasons.

I don’t have a very positive self image, or indeed, a positive outlook on life. I think everyone is against me most of the time. I try my best, but i struggle a lot with this. I am moody, irritable and rude a lot of the time. I swear too- so prepare to be offended if you don’t like it. Deep down, i’m just a nice girl, really. So don’t think too badly of me.

You can contact me on miss.faith.walker@gmail.com

As an additional note:

No, I do not want to be a doctor. A doctor is not “better” or “higher up” than a nurse. It is a totally different profession. I will not dress up in my uniform for you. My uniform is not “sexy” and I won’t take your temperature rectally.

Does that answer all your questions?

Good.
